The Boston Internet City project involves plans for the demolition of warehouse space in Brighton, Massachusetts to facilitate the building of a new technological center. To support the proposed renovation, Environmental & Construction Management Services, Inc. (ECMS) was retained by TGG Environmental Services, Inc. (TGG) to perform Project Monitoring and Construction Administration services for the asbestos abatement portion of the project. When completed, Boston Internet City will offer 444,000 rentable square feet on three floors, featuring large floor area, generous clear heights, strong floor loading capacity, and ample power supply. Its services include professional property management and 24 hour uniformed security. Boston Internet City provides easy market access for telecommunications companies in a safe and secure environment. ECMS provided project administrative and construction management support including compliance supervision, inspections of contractor activities, and air quality monitoring during abatement operations.
